‘In Rhodes' is a rhythmically playful and observational exploration of place.  Each work begins with a single colour photograph taken in Rhodes in Sydney's inner west. The image is then manipulated by playing with scale, rotation and repetition (a process of overlaying the image over itself). The resulting composite imagery produces a strangely familiar but unsettling reflection of the local environment whilst also allowing the audience to see Rhodes in a new perspective. These images are from a selection made for a 10min video (looped) which was played on two screens at The Learning Space in Rhodes in March-April 2023.
