Carpark

In this Carpark series I invite the viewer to slow down and reconsider the everyday — a space we often rush past without a second glance. At first glance these images are about concrete: its dual nature as both soft and heavy, powerful and delicate. In the textures, lines and shadows of this overlooked environment, concrete reveals its capacity for beauty — a silent interplay of light and surface that feels both sculptural and tactile. Beneath this material fascination lies a deeper interest in how ordinary moments and spaces can be read in multiple ways. The carpark, often seen as purely functional, becomes a stage for abstraction and subtle poetry, encouraging the viewer to find significance and beauty in what is familiar, yet unnoticed.
